The Association of Virtual Worlds Welcomes Andrew Peters as Marketing Director
The Association of Virtual Worlds today announced the appointment of Andrew Peters, virtual world advocate and community creator to the position of Marketing Director. Peters is well known to the Virtual Worlds Industry and has served as a member of the Associations' Advisory Board. He will be chartered with launching the AVW Platinum Membership Program as well as building the community which has enjoyed rapid growth in just a few short months to become one of the largest groups in the virtual worlds' arena located at
Execs Teleport to Virtual Conference
Execs from over 170 companies opted to teleport rather than fly to a recent virtual worlds conference. Clever Zebra, organizers of the vBusiness Expo note the growing trend in a "no fly" stance to meetings.
